New Bensalem Police officers sworn in

Officers Mitchell Fenton, Jennifer Mullin, Madison Taylor and John Corcoran have been sworn in to the Bensalem Township Police Department

Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and director of public safety William McVey recently welcomed new members to the Bensalem Township Police Department. DiGirolamo gave the oath of office to Officers Mitchell Fenton, Jennifer Mullin, Madison Taylor and John Corcoran.

Fenton comes to Bensalem after spending four years with the FBI. He also served five and a half years with the United States Coast Guard. He graduated from Delaware Valley University and was a graduate of Council Rock High School. He will be attending the Temple University Police Academy to obtain his Act 120 certification.

Mullin was a Philadelphia Police Officer for eight years and was most recently assigned to the 15th District. She was selected by her captain to be a member of the 5-squad. She has a degree from Holy Family University and graduated from Archbishop Ryan High School.

Taylor comes to Bensalem from the private sector and is a lifelong resident of Bensalem. She attended the Montgomery County Police Academy and obtained her Act 120 certification. She has a degree from Chestnut Hill College and is currently working on her master’s degree. She also graduated from Archbishop Ryan.

Corcoran also comes to Bensalem from the private sector. He has a degree from Holy Family and is working on his master’s degree. He graduated from Father Judge High School and will be attending the Temple University Police Academy to obtain his Act 120 certification.
