Cairn launches Run 12:1 running club

Runners of all fitness levels are invited to join

Cairn University, 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne, recently launched Run 12:1, a free community running club in the Lower Bucks County area. Run 12:1 is a group of runners of all fitness levels who strive to improve their physical and spiritual health by gathering weekly for runs, devotions and fellowship with one another.

The group meets to run together every Thursday at 5:30 p.m. in locations throughout Lower Bucks. On the second Saturday of every month at 8:30 a.m., the club also meets to run and attend a free workshop on how to improve running technique.

The group meets at Cairn University (lower level lobby of the Mason Activity Center) on the first, third and fifth Thursday of the month, and the second Saturday of the month; Core Creek Park (Duchess Lane parking lot near pavilions 7, 8 and 9) on the second Thursday of the month; and Tyler State Park (Boathouse parking lot near the dam) on the fourth Thursday of the month.
