KleinLife, 10100 Jamison Ave. in Northeast Philadelphia, is seeking food donations to fill breakfast bags for homebound seniors as part of its annual Subaru Share the Love Program.

According to Fredric Byarm, food sufficiency director for the center’s Home Delivered Meals Program, which delivers meals to residents of Lower Bucks County and surrounding areas who cannot shop or cook for themselves, KleinLife is seeking a wide variety of breakfast foods, including tea bags, instant coffee, hot cocoa and instant oatmeal packets, as well as boxes of dry cereals.

In addition, KleinLife is asking for donations of juice packs, boxes of raisins, cranberries and nuts, pudding and fruit cups, canned fish, granola bars and peanut butter crackers.

The foods can be dropped off at KleinLife through Friday, Dec. 29.

Additionally, Subaru of America Inc. is making a $300 donation to Meals on Wheels for every car purchased or leased at its Feasterville Subaru dealership, located at 200 W. Street Road, by Jan. 2. Since its inception in 2008, Subaru and its participating retailers have donated more than 4.3 million meals and helped provide friendly visits to seniors served by Meals on Wheels across the country. Visit mealsonwheelsamerica.org/sharethelove for more information.
