Women’s Animal Center participated in NBCUniversal’s Clear the Shelters adoption event, with 49 of its shelter animals — 28 cats, 15 dogs, four rabbits and two ferrets — finding their forever homes.
Event partner Inspire Federal Credit Union donated $10,000, which covered all adoption fees and will continue to help the Bensalem-based shelter support its life-saving mission. Additionally, Inspire customers donated pet food at its four branches to be distributed to pet owners in need.
