SCORE Bucks County announces August business webinars

Small business owners can learn about bookkeeping for nonprofits, cash flow management basics and more

In an ongoing effort to keep the small business community informed, SCORE Bucks County is offering nearly a dozen educational workshops for entrepreneurs and business owners in August.

The online webinars feature a wide range of insightful topics for every stage of the entrepreneur’s journey, including bookkeeping for small nonprofits; establishing a business entity; cash flow management basics; and marketing. See the August calendar at score.org/buckscounty/local-workshops/score-bucks-county-workshop-calendar.

By combining resources among 30 local chapters in the Mid-Atlantic region — throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia and Washington, D.C. — the chapters can collectively offer many more online workshops. On average, 15 webinars will be available monthly, all free of charge. Most webinars will be led by local chapter experts.

In addition to providing online educational offerings, SCORE volunteers provide no-cost one-on-one mentoring in-person, online or by phone and email. Mentors have expertise in various business-related backgrounds, from finance and accounting to business operations, information technology, marketing and more, making it easy to pair clients with the expert in their industry.
