The Southampton-based Sunshine Foundation announced that Mary Kleva-Chelednik joined its national board of directors.
Kleva-Chelednik, director of the Atlantic Cape Pediatrics office for Bayada Home Health Care in Egg Harbor Township, New Jersey, started her career at Bayada over 25 years ago as a client services manager. Throughout her tenure, she has worn many hats, overseeing recruiting, compliance, marketing and multiple program developments.
In 2009, she took the helm as director of the Atlantic Cape Pediatrics office, where her nurses specialize in caring for children of all ages, from newborns to adolescents, at home and at school. Her goal is to provide the highest quality pediatric home health care services available.
She is also passionate about talent development, serving as a mentor for fellow employees and new office staff, and supporting her own team’s career growth. Two of her former employees are now directors and others have been promoted to management positions.
Kleva-Chelednik has been married to her high school sweetheart Anthony for 26 years. They have two children, Anthony and Brianna. She travels each year to her native Croatia to visit her parents.

Sunshine Foundation answers dreams to children with lifelong severe chronic illnesses and conditions such as: spina bifida, cerebral palsy, Level 3 severe autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, severe epilepsy, Sickle Cell Disease, blindness, deafness and trauma from abuse.
To make these dreams a reality for children who may be turned away from other wish-granting organizations that require a life-threatening or critical diagnosis, Sunshine Foundation relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations.
The most common request is a Magical Dream to visit Disney World, Legoland, SeaWorld and Universal Studios while choosing to stay at the Sunshine Foundation Dream Village near Disney. Sunshine Foundation also answers Special Dreams: shopping sprees, computers and iPads, outdoor playsets, above-ground swimming pools, family trips, cruises, adaptive tricycles and other special needs equipment, plus more.
