Bensalem Township School District Orchestra members participated in the Bucks County Music Educators’ String Day Festival on Saturday, Nov. 4.
String Day is a one-day festival held in the Council Rock School District, this year at Holland Middle School, featuring the top string students in grades 7-9 from all over Bucks County. The students were given concert music when they arrived in the morning, rehearsed throughout the day, and performed a concert in the afternoon.
The students were:
- Bensalem High School: Jude Sakkah (first chair cellist), Jared Santos
- Robert K. Shafer Middle School: MaryJo MacAdams, Sabiha Nexhbi, Lily Sweeney, Kaidin Tran, Benjamin Thai, Erin Overlander-Lutz, Avika Vora, Greg Winters, Thomas Obeid
- Cecelia Snyder Middle School: Mackenzie Carney, Eva Lang
