Sesame Place is gearing up for the return of Elmo’s Springtacular, which begins on Saturday, April 15 and runs through Sunday, June 18.
Highlights include:
Dino Ranch Meet & Greets, April 15-16 — This takes place at Abby’s Paradise Theater. Guests can meet young cowboy Jon and his raptor Blitz, from the Disney Junior show Dino Ranch. Reservations required.
PJ Masks Meet & Greets, April 22-23 — The heroes of PJ Masks are returning. Take photos with Catboy, Owlette and Gekko at Abby’s Paradise Theater. Reservations required.
All-New Blippi Meet & Greets, April 29-30 — Sesame Place is welcoming children’s entertainer Blippi and his best friend Meekah in a limited-time experience at Abby’s Paradise Theater. Season pass members will have an exclusive opportunity to register for this meet & greet ahead of time. Reservations required.
Pete and Cat Meet & Greets and Arthur Meet & Greets, May 6-7 — This first weekend of May features two meet & greet opportunities at Abby’s Paradise Theater. Guests can join the groovy fun with Pete the Cat, star of the bestselling book series by James Dean and the Amazon Prime adaptation, and get a photo. They can also meet and take photos with everyone’s favorite aardvark Arthur, along with his little sister DW and best friend Buster, when he journeys from Elwood City to Sesame Place. Reservations required.
Mother’s Day Celebration, May 13-14 — Festivities include the Furry Friends “Mommy & Me” Dance Party at Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage, a craft in Sesame Plaza and a commemorative Mother’s Day giveaway upon entry to the park. Guests can enjoy a buffet meal at the Mother’s Day Dine with Elmo & Friends, where mothers will receive a special gift. Reservations and an additional fee are required for Dine with Elmo & Friends.
Elmo’s Pirate Weekend, May 20-21 — Elmo and his crew set sail in a swashbuckling pirate adventure in exclusive showings of Elmo and the Bookaneers at Abby’s Paradise Theater. Space is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Captain Cookie’s Treasure Hunt takes guests on a treasure-seeking scavenger hunt around the park. Guests can meet Elmo and his furry friends dressed in their pirate garb.
Kiwanis-Herald Sesame Place Classic 5K, May 21 — This 23rd annual event is comprised of a 5K race, one-mile fun run and a Sesame Sprint for kids. Race participants will each receive a free one-day admission to Sesame Place, valid through June 18, 2023. Proceeds go to the Dick Dougherty Honorarium Awards program, which assists Bucks County college-bound students. As of 2022, this event has generated over $450,000 in financial aid for local students. Memorial Day Celebration and Fireworks, May 27-28 — On Friday, May 26, select water attractions will open for the season, with the debut of the all-new Bert & Ernie’s Splashy Shores and new Big Bird’s Beach anticipated for this summer. Then, over the weekend, Elmo will dress in his patriotic attire for an exclusive meet & greet at Photos with Elmo & Friends. When night falls on Sunday, the “C is for Celebrate” fireworks show will light up the sky.
Power Rangers Meet & Greets, June 3-4 — For the second year in a row, the Mighty Morphin’ Power Rangers are returning for one weekend. Guests can meet the Pink, Blue, Black, Red and Yellow Rangers in an action-packed meet & greet and photo opportunity at Sesame Studio Theater. Reservations required.
Choo-Choo Soul Concerts, June 10-11 — This takes place at Sesame Street Theater. Disney Junior’s Genevieve Goings, hip-hop singer and train station manager, and her dancing, beat-boxing engineer DC, are returning to perform soulful, current renditions of the ABCs and 1-2-3s. Reservations required.
Father’s Day Fan Fest, June 17-18 — Festivities include the Furry Friends “Fan Zone” Dance Party at Oscar’s Wacky Taxi Stage and the Father’s Day Fan Zone, where guests can play games, rock out, and meet mascots and icons from their favorite teams. There’s a Father’s Day Dine with Elmo & Friends, where fathers will receive a special giveaway. Reservations and an additional fee are required for Dine with Elmo & Friends.
