Two Bensalem Police officers sworn in

Sean Heefner and Kyle Tuthill both graduated from the Temple University Police Academy

Bensalem Township Mayor Joseph DiGirolamo and director of public safety William McVey announced the swearing in of two police officers, Sean Heefner and Kyle Tuthill. Both attended the Temple University Police Academy for the past six months. They recently graduated from the academy and received their Act 120 Municipal Police Officer Training Certification.

Heefner was previously employed by the Wildwood Crest Police Department. He graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Hammonton, New Jersey in 2018. He then attended Camden County Community College and received his associates degree in criminal justice.

Tuthill comes from the private sector where he was a helicopter mechanic for Leonardo Helicopters in Northeast Philadelphia. He graduated from Bucks County Technical High School in 2015 and received his associates degree in criminal justice from Bucks County Community College.
