Merrill Reese is Lower Bucks Chamber keynote speaker on April 13

The ‘Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles’ will discuss the team, NFL Draft and favorite memories

The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce is hosting its next keynote program on Thursday, April 13, at One Thunder Road, Trenton, New Jersey. Networking and breakfast is from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the program is from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Merrill Reese, voice of the Philadelphia Eagles, WBCB 1490 AM and 107.3 FM, is presenting “Philadelphia Eagles, NFL Draft & Greatest Memories.”

Reese, who has been the play-by-play “Voice of the Philadelphia Eagles” for four decades, began his career at WPAZ in Pottstown and continued on to WBCB in Levittown, where he is part-owner and general manager. He also spent 14 years as sports director of WIP and was the play-by-play voice of “NFL Dream Season,” an ESPN series. In addition, he has handled tennis play-by-play for Madison Square Garden Television in New York with Billie Jean King.

Reese has been named Pennsylvania Sportscaster of the Year by the National Association of Sportscasters and Sportswriters, and was selected as Radio Broadcaster of the Year by the Pennsylvania Association of Broadcasters. He has been the recipient of numerous other awards and honors, and has been inducted into the Eagles Hall of Fame.

A graduate of Temple University, Reese was inducted into the school’s Communication Hall of Fame, as well as the halls of fame for Pennsylvania Sports and Overbrook High School.

In 2018, he got to broadcast the Super Bowl where the Eagles defeated the New England Patriots.
