The Samuel Staten Sr. Charitable Trust, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, is holding its 24th annual Charity Golf Classic on Tuesday, May 30, at Spring Mill Country Club in Ivyland.
The outing is being held in honor of Robert J. McGinn, administrator of the Laborers’ Local 57 Industrial Pension Fund of Philadelphia. He will be presented with the “Making A Difference Award” at the evening banquet by Samuel Staten Jr., business manager of LIUNA Local Union #332, secretary-treasurer of Laborers’ District Council of the Metropolitan Area of Philadelphia and Vicinity, and international vice president of the Laborers’ International Union of North America.
