Lower Bucks Chamber announces Feb. 9 keynote program

TransAct Merchant Services CEO and founder Mary Ann Robinson will discuss ‘Making Processing Payments a Breeze’

The Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce announced that Mary Ann Robinson, CEO and founder, TransAct Merchant Services, is presenting “Making Processing Payments a Breeze” at its next keynote program on Thursday, Feb. 9, at the Capital Health Boardroom, Chamber Office, 409 Hood Blvd. in Fairless Hills. Networking and breakfast is from 8:30 to 9 a.m. and the program is from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

– Understand a few security updates and how they are integral to your business
– Top five things to look for when reviewing your current merchant services statements
– Key items to consider when thinking about operating a merchant account to accept credit cards for payment
– Learn about payment options preferred by millennials

Robinson founded TransAct, a merchant service company that delivers personalized merchant/credit card services to businesses, in 2010 after subcontracting for other merchant service providers. She is passionate about effectively representing her clients and the financial needs of their business. Robinson has years of experience working with companies of all sizes in varied markets, and understands the value, processes, advantages and disadvantages of establishing credit card processing procedures for businesses.

She graduated cum laude from the University of Scranton with a B.S. in computer science. She also holds an MBA in finance and human resources from Drexel University. Robinson is, or has been, involved in leadership positions with the following associations: National Association of Women Business Owners, Greater Philadelphia Chapter, BNI, Doylestown Chapter, BNIDVR staff member and Board of Education for St. John the Baptist School.
