The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People Bucks County is installing the newly-elected 2023-24 executive officers and executive committee members on Monday, Jan. 30, at 6:30 p.m. at the Middletown Township Municipal Center, 3 Municipal Way, Langhorne.
Officers and new committee members will be sworn in by the honorable Judge Joseph Falcone. This event is free and open to the public. Free parking available. Light refreshments will be served.
The 2023-24 executive offers are:
– Karen Downer, president
– John Jordan, first vice president
– William Bennett, second vice president
– Patrice Tisdale, third vice president
– Nathaniel Gagum, treasurer
– Layla Myers, assistant treasurer
– Lisa Spurlocke, secretary
The 2023-24 executive committee members are:

Founded in 1909, the NAACP is the nation’s oldest and largest nonpartisan civil rights organization with a mission to secure the political, educational, social and economic equality of rights to eliminate race-based discrimination and ensure the health and wellbeing of all persons. Its members throughout the United States and the world are the premier advocates for civil rights in their communities. The Bucks County chapter was chartered in 1951 and pursues the same mission.
