Moviehouse Productions’ Rick Spector is chronicling the first 100 years of American movie history at the Northampton Township Free Library on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. with a one-hour multimedia program, “Movie Memories.”

From the streets of Philadelphia to Hollywood Boulevard, tribute is paid to stars both on and off camera, and the positive impacts that film has made on the movie-going public. Early local stars profiled include stage and movie great Lionel Barrymore, film composer David Raksin, 1950s sci fi star Hugh Marlowe and Janet Gaynor, lead of the original 1937 A Star Is Born.

Register in advance for this free program at northamptontownshiplibrary.org or 215-357-3050. The library is located at 25 Upper Holland Road, Richboro.
