Wine Trail hosting Summer Sip & Savor

Bucks County Wine Trail’s Summer Sip & Savor food and wine pairing events are set for Aug. 7 and 14

On select Sundays in August, wine lovers and food aficionados can enjoy selections of locally-made wines paired with small plates as part of the Bucks County Wine Trail’s Summer Sip & Savor food and wine pairing events.

Co-sponsored by Visit Bucks County and the Bucks County Wine Trail, Summer Sip & Savor welcomes guests to come and enjoy wines expertly selected to complement an array of savory and sweet dishes at each of the seven family-owned wineries along the trail on Aug. 7 and 14. Each winery will offer three to four small bites paired with complimentary wine varieties.

Travelers can opt for self-guided stops at all seven winners over the two Sundays or choose to visit a few of the wineries on their designated day.

On Aug. 7, Summer Sip & Savor features Bishop Estate Vineyard and Winery, 2730 Hilltown Pike in Perkasie; Sand Castle Winery, 755 River Road in Erwinna; and Vino by Zzino, 1410 Fels Road in Quakertown.

On Aug. 14, featured wineries are Buckingham Valley Vineyards, 1521 Durham Road in Buckingham; Crossing Vineyards and Winery, 1853 Wrightstown Road in Newtown; Rose Bank Winery, 258 Durham Road in Newtown; and Rushland Ridge Vineyards, 2665 Rushland Road in Jamison.
