Langhorne Council for the Arts announced that the LCA Summer Speaker Series is returning after a two-year hiatus. This marks the 10th year that LCA has hosted a speaker series. The lineup is as follows:
July 5, Stephen Perloff: Langhorne resident, acclaimed photographer and editor of The Photo Review and The Photograph Collector will take attendees on “A Photographer’s Journey” from the day he held his first camera as a young boy to the places that photography has taken him
July 19, Edward Harrigan: Educator turned artist, he will share the stories and inspiration behind his paintings that are purely Bucks County
Aug. 2, Terry Culleton: Langhorne resident and former Bucks County Poet Laureate reads from his latest book A Tree and Gone
Aug. 16, Stephen Van Schoyk, Ph.D.: Clinical psychologist and Langhorne resident, he’ll speak on the intriguing topic of his look Looking for Yourself in All the Wrong Places: How to recognize your authentic self to live on your terms
Presentations are held at the Anna Mary Williamson Library/Museum (headquarters of the Historic Langhorne Association), on the corner of W. Maple and Hill aves in Langhorne Borough, at 7:30 p.m.
A donation of $5 is requested to help LCA continue to promote the arts in the community.
