THRIVE, an Acton Academy, is sponsoring and organizing its 4th annual Children’s Business Fair on Sunday, May 22, from 1 to 3 p.m. at 207 Penns Trail, Newtown. There will be approximately 40 kid-run businesses that are working for this special one-day event.

Free admission. Families can come see what kids in the community have produced when given the chance to run their “business” for a day. Kids will be selling products they’ve made for the event, including pet treats, picture frames, snacks and interesting inventions. The kids develop a brand, create a product or service, build a marketing strategy and then open for customers at the one-day marketplace.

Prizes for the top three winners will be distributed during an awards ceremony at 3 p.m.
