TMA Bucks Community Traffic Safety manager Carly Mannon was recently the special guest speaker at Teddy Bear Academy in Bensalem Township as she read the children’s safety book All Buckled Up! to Pre-K students.
All Buckled Up! is an adventure-filled board book about travel safety and seatbelts aimed at pre-school and kindergarten aged children.
“It is very important that we create opportunities to attempt to reach a younger audience about all things safety related,” said Mannon. “The earlier we get to them, the earlier they become aware of making smart decisions. They are also at an impressionable age where they can share the important messages they learned with their parents and caregivers.”
Child passenger safety information packets were sent home with the students for their parents or guardians to look over.
