River House at Odette’s, a luxury boutique hotel located at 274 River Road in New Hope, is kicking off New Hope Celebrates’ annual Pridefest on May 19 with its first Love is Love Gala. The ticketed event will feature the theme “What Pride Means to You,” encouraging guests to become their own Pride statement piece through creative yet formal wearable art.
The gala takes place from 7 to 10 p.m. in the hotel’s open concept ballroom overlooking the Delaware River. The evening features many festivities, with guests encouraged to display their own artistic attire and compete in a runway contest for “Best Dressed,” selected by a panel of judges comprised of prominent community members. Guests can also participate in a silent auction showcasing 20 pieces of art crafted by local creatives, with proceeds benefiting New Hope Celebrates. Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres will be served and a full cash bar will be available throughout the course of the evening.
“New Hope Celebrates has established itself as a preeminent local institution and we’re proud to not only be partnering with them, but also have the privilege of kicking off this year’s Pridefest 2022,” said Ron Gorodesky, president and CEO of Refined Hospitality, the hospitality management company that oversees River House at Odette’s. “Together, our teams are working on creating a memorable experience for all participants and we invite members of the local community and beyond to join us as we celebrate this special occasion.”
Tickets start at $35 per person, plus tax, and are available here.
