Justin Colantonio, president and CEO, Total Technology Resources, LLC, will present “How to Not Get Hacked in 2022.” If you’re a micro, small or medium sized business, you’re probably feeling uneasy when it comes to cybersecurity. Are you adequately covered? How crippling could it be for your business if you were hacked? What can you do to protect yourself? How expensive is it to get covered?
If you think you’re too small to be targeted, the truth is that you may be targeted because you’re small. Sign up for this informative talk to learn the steps you can take to protect yourself in the online world, with or without a budget.
Colantonio is the managing partner of Total Technology Resources and one of the founding members of the firm. Born and raised in Northeast Philadelphia, he came of age right as the internet was starting to take off. Even as a youth, he always had an interest in technology, so much so that he won an award for technology in grammar school. He continued his IT education at LaSalle University, graduating with dual degrees in accounting and management information systems.
After college, he tried accounting as a career, but quickly realized that was not going to be his long-term plan. He then delved into IT and took a position as an adjunct professor at CHI Institute teaching server management courses. During that same time, he was hired by the City of Philadelphia as a consultant to help implement a new 911 system. He spent two years there helping the internal IT team complete a large-scale project, seeing it through until installation.
Once the consulting engagement was over in 2004, Colantonio had an interest in starting a business. He discussed this venture with a longtime friend and Total Technology Resources was born. Over the past 17 years, he and his business partner Jim have grown their firm into a thriving management service provider. Colantonio is now responsible for the company’s vision and direction, oversees his executive management team and recently developed its new cybersecurity program. He also recently assisted in writing a book on cybersecurity along with a bunch of industry experts and has presented to numerous schools and organizations on cybersecurity.
