Middletown offering archery lessons starting Sept. 13

Beginner and intermediate classes are available

Middletown Township is offering several options to learn archery this fall. Archery is a universal, lifetime sport. Anyone can do it. The sport builds upper body and core strength, along with balance and hand-eye coordination. Archery develops strong problem-solving skills, focus, determination and patience. All equipment, including bows, arrows (field tip), quivers, targets, safety netting and cones will be provided.

Exploring Archery (for beginners)

Cost is $89; $99 for non-residents. Location is Detective Christopher Jones Memorial Park. Session 1 is Sept. 13-Oct. 4. Session 2 is Oct. 11-Nov. 1. Time for ages 6-12 is 4 to 4:45 p.m. Time for ages 13-plus (parents welcome to sign up) is 5 to 5:45 p.m.

Archery Intermediate I
