St. Mary Surgical Associates Langhorne will host its next bariatric support group online on Aug. 4, from 6 to 7 p.m., to assist bariatric patients in meeting their program goals. Maria Nicholson, RD, LDN, will lead this month’s support group and discuss “Self-Love and Body Acceptance Through Bariatric Surgery.”
This session is free of charge. All pre-operational and post-operational bariatric treatment patients are invited to participate. Those who attend will have the opportunity to join in discussions to support their weight loss journey. Studies show that those who attend the support group sessions are more likely to succeed in their weight loss venture.
