The Lenape Chamber Ensemble announced its 34th season of the Summer Gala Concert Series. Two Saturday evening concerts on July 24 and 31 take place at 8 p.m., in Delaware Valley University’s Life Sciences Building Auditorium, 700 E. Butler Avenue in Doylestown.
Once again, top musicians from across the country who are familiar to Bucks County audiences will return to the stage. They include prize-winning pianist Marcantonio Barone, distinguished violinists Emily Daggett-Smith and Cyrus Beroukhim, cellist Albert Parrini and violist William Frampton.
They will join violinist Nancy Bean and cellist Lloyd Smith, of the Wister Quartet; Baroque violinist Katie Kyun; and Dana Kelley, violist with the Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, to present two programs that feature music from several centuries, written in many moods and with numerous musical approaches.
Members of the audience are invited to meet and chat with the musicians at the reception following each concert.
Tickets are $18 for adults; $15 for seniors and students. They will be available at the door or online at lenapechamberensemble.org. Call 610-294-9361 for more information.
