Philly Joe Tattoo Studio and Battle22 are teaming up this June to help prevent veteran suicide. A fundraiser event is set for June 26, from noon to 5 p.m. at the studio, 2339 Bristol Road, Bensalem.
There will be raffles, giveaways, merchandise and music. Guest speaker is Kyle Early, founder and CEO of Active Duty RX and Battle on the Homefront.
Battle22 funds outdoor therapeutic activities for veterans, providing opportunities to heal from the invisible wounds of war. Activities include off-roading, hiking, camping, fishing, hunting and more across America. Too many veterans have been lost to suicide and opioid overdose. Battle22 helps get them focused on healing by promoting prevention and awareness, and providing camaraderie with like-minded battle buddies in the great outdoors.
