$1 million lottery ticket sold in Croydon

The ticket, purchased from the Pantry 1 Food Mart, matched all five white balls drawn on May 4

The Pantry 1 Food Mart, 1801 Newport Road in Croydon, sold a winning Mega Millions ticket worth $1 million for the Tuesday, May 4 drawing, announced the Pennsylvania Lottery.

The ticket matched all five white balls drawn, 4-27-32-57-63, but not the yellow Mega Ball 22, to win $1 million, less applicable withholding. The Food Mart earns a $5,000 selling bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Winners are not known until prizes are claimed and tickets are validated. Pennsylvania Lottery Mega Millions prizes expire one year from the drawing date. The holder of the winning ticket should sign the back of the ticket and contact the nearest lottery office.

More than 37,700 other PA Lottery Mega Millions tickets won prizes of various amounts in the drawing, including more than 9,300 tickets purchased with Megaplier. Players should check every ticket, every time.

There was no jackpot-winning ticket sold for the May 4 Mega Millions drawing, which boosted the jackpot to a $370 million annuity value, or $254.1 million cash. The next Mega Millions drawing will be held Friday, May 7.
