Cairn offers free English lessons online

Improve skills every Wednesday through Dec. 2 on Zoom

For those looking to learn English or improve their speaking skills, Cairn University is offering free weekly English lessons to adult learners through its Community English Learning Program (CELP). Participants will learn basic English skills from qualified instructors and practice with English speakers. Whether you know little to no English or have been speaking it for years, CELP offers multiple levels of instruction for all skill levels.

Classes are offered via Zoom every Wednesday, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., through Dec. 2. Students may join at any time. While classes are free, students need to purchase textbooks for $35.

To sign up or for more information, visit cairn.edu/celp. Cairn University is also seeking volunteers to help participants practice. If interested in volunteering with CELP, contact Marika Ravin at mravin@cairn.edu.
