The Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics Union Local 22 has endorsed Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick for re-election in the 1st Congressional District.
“I am proud to accept the endorsement and support of the Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics Union Local 22. I will continue my work to represent the interests of the firefighters, paramedics, EMTs and officers of the Philadelphia Fire Department, who do so much to give back to our community every day. It’s an honor to advocate for our first responders and return just a fraction of my gratitude for their service,” he said.
Local 22 vice president Charles McQuilkin said to Fitzpatrick, “You have been one of our most trusted allies in Washington, and we rely on you to advocate on our behalf in Congress. You have been a loyal friend to the members of the Philadelphia Firefighters and Paramedics Union Local 22. We stand with you and support you in your re-election.
