Corvette Club donates funds to Sunshine Foundation and other charities

A total of $32,000 was distributed to various organizations

On Wednesday, Jan. 15, at 8 p.m., the Corvette Club of Delaware Valley had its first meeting at the Warminster V.F.W. During the meeting, the charitable wing, Corvette Enthusiast Community Foundation, gave $32,000 in donations to local charities.

“As president of CECF and a member of CCDV, I have never felt so good about a club who has donated over $500,000 since its inception,” said president Joseph Parente.

Recipients included Animals Rock Shelter ($1,500), Foster Angels on Earth ($1,500), Chip Miller Foundation ($1,500), Phila Vietnam Society ($2,000), Mattie Dixon Food Cupboard ($2,250), Manna on Main Street ($2,500), Lenape Foundation ($2,500), Caring for Friends ($2,500), Juvenile Diabetes ($4,000) and Sunshine Foundation ($12,000).
