Debbie Wachspress, a Democrat running against Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick in Pennsylvania’s 1st District, recently announced the endorsements of 2018 1st District candidates Rachel Reddick and Steve Bacher.
These endorsements follow Wachspress’ grassroots fundraising performance in the most recent fundraising quarter, in which she outraised the rest of the Democratic field and holds a more than 2-to-1 cash-on-hand advantage over the other filed candidates combined.
“Debbie Wachspress is a leader on gun violence prevention, anti-bullying efforts and public education,” said Reddick, Navy veteran and 2018 Democratic candidate for Congress. “Her energy and track record of service for our community make her the right person to win this race at this critical moment for our country.”
“Debbie Wachspress is the leader we need fighting for quality, affordable health care, taking a smart approach to fighting climate change, and changing the tone in Washington, D.C. so we can get things done for the people again,” said Bacher, environmental advocate and 2018 Democratic candidate for Congress. “She is smart and energetic and the Democrat who will win in 2020.”
“I’m honored to have the support of Rachel Reddick and Steve Bacher, two incredible leaders who share my commitment to the families of southeastern Pennsylvania,” said Wachspress. “With Rachel and Steve in my corner, we are a step closer to making the voices of our community heard in Washington, D.C.”
