Longtime Bucks County resident Joanne Bogrett has been named United Way of Bucks County’s chief development officer.
Bogrett brings extensive nonprofit and fundraising experience. Following a successful career as a nonprofit consultant, she spent several years leading development efforts and building capacity at Family Service Association of Bucks County.
In her new role, Bogrett will be responsible for creating and executing the big-picture resource development strategy for United Way of Bucks County. She will work with the entire team to set strategy, develop goals and execute plans.
“I am thrilled with this new opportunity,” she said. “I love developing meaningful partnerships and helping to create lasting change in our community. United Way of Bucks County is a well-established nonprofit, but forward-thinking at the same time. I am looking forward to working with this team.”
“We are so excited to welcome Joanne,” said Marissa Christie, United Way of Bucks County president and CEO. “She brings the knowledge, the passion and the expertise to help us grow. She brings a whole new dynamic to our team and to our fundraising efforts. Together, we are going to help and serve more people than ever before.
