Autumn Natural Foods Cooking: Township Library of Lower Southampton, at 1983 Bridgetown Pike, Feasterville, will host this event at 7 p.m. Learn about cooking healthy and natural foods and take home recipes. Book Fair: The Barnes & Noble Feasterville Library Book Fair will take place from 5 to 8 p.m., at Barnes & Noble Neshaminy Mall in Bensalem. There will be spooky stories, scary scavenger hunts, creepy crafts and a Halloween costume contest. Mill Street Scarecrow Exhibit: The Mill Street Scarecrow Exhibit will be on display now through Nov. 2. Bristol Borough’s Mill Street will be lined with scarecrows created by businesses, civic organizations, schools and individual families. Concert: Cairn Opera Theater presents “For All The Saints?” at 7:30 p.m. at Cairn University’s Chatlos Chapel, at 200 Manor Ave., Langhorne. Cat Adoption: Come meet the furry love of your life at the Cat Tales Adoption Center, at the Warrington Pavilion Shopping Center, 1111 Easton Road, Suite 17 (next door to Animal Lifeline Thrift Store), in Warrington. Code Club: The Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St. in Bristol, is hosting Code Club, a STEM educational series for children in grades 2 through 8. The club will meet from 5:30 to 7 p.m. weekly. Students in grades 2-4 will meet on Mondays, and grades 5-8 will meet on Tuesdays. Using Prenda software, children will learn how to code in Blocky, JavaScript, HTML/CSS and Python and to build websites, video games, apps and more. Registration is required. Participants are invited to bring their own laptop or Chromebook to each session. A limited number of library Chromebooks will be available to use. Autumnal Journeys Camp: Bucks County Audubon Society’s School Holiday Camps are geared toward ages 4-10 (with age appropriate groups and activities) and run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Each session is filled with fun from hiking, live animals, stories, crafts, science experiments and hands-on natural discoveries. The fall semester’s camp dates and themes are: “Autumnal Journeys” on Nov. 5, and “Winter is Coming” on Nov. 27. Cost is $45 a day for members and $60 a day for non-members. Health Insurance Open Enrollment Help: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, will host this event at 4 p.m. Do you have questions about Medicare, Medicaid or Marketplace (Affordable Care Act) plans? Assisters will be available to provide free assistance with questions and help with enrollment. This is a walk-in event. Health Insurance Marketplace Open Enrollment is Nov. 1-Dec. 15, and Medicare Advantage and Medicare Prescription Drug Coverage is through Dec. 7. Bucks County SPCA: More Than Cats and Dogs: Southampton Free Library, at 947 Street Road, Southampton, will host this event at 6:30 p.m. The local SPCA helps all kinds of animals who need rescuing and rehoming, from lost dogs and homeless kittens to goats and other farm animals rescued from cruelty and neglect. Learn about the animals of the Bucks County SPCA and how you can help make the county a safe place for all furry and feathered friends. The library will be collecting cans of Friskies pate or Fancy Feast wet cat food. Bring to the event or drop off at the library prior.
