BRAVECTO, the only flea and tick protection on the market that lasts up to 12 weeks, has partnered with Women’s Animal Center as sponsor of a lifesaving adoption event on Saturday, Sept. 21, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Women’s Animal Center, 3839 Richlieu Road, Bensalem.
The main purpose of the event is to place as many animals as possible into new homes, as the shelter historically contends with an influx of homeless animals well past summer and throughout the fall season.
Women’s Animal Center invites all interested adopters out for the event, which will feature discounts on all adoption fees, including $10 cats, $20 kittens, $50 dogs and 50 percent off small animals. All adoptions include spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchip and free follow-up services in the organization’s veterinary hospital.
Refreshments will be available, as well as arts activities for the kids. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early, and to streamline their adoption process by reviewing the shelter’s website for tips on coming prepared at womensanimalcenter.org/our-animal-shelter/adoption-process-fees
