Family Service Association of Bucks County recently honored Quality Services Plus, Inc., located at 1500 Grundy Lane, Bristol, with its 2019 Susan N. Altomari Champion for Youth Award at the organization’s annual Drive for Youth Golf Outing. The fundraiser and awards banquet took place on June 3 at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope.

The Susan N. Altomari Champion for Youth Award recognizes an individual or group that positively impacts the lives of youth in Bucks County through Family Service. Quality Services Plus was selected to receive the award in recognition of the company’s leadership and contributions to the Bucks County Emergency Homeless Shelter, operated by Family Service.

In December, Quality Services Plus made a tremendous difference in the lives of children and families in need by renovating the playroom and dining area at the homeless shelter. Before, the spaces were worn and full. Currently, they’re bright, vibrant and fun. The renovation made a drastic difference in the overall appearance of the shelter and in the morale of staff and residents alike.

“We are all very happy and extremely proud to be a part of something so great,” said Ernie Esposito, project manager at Quality Services Plus. “We would like to thank everyone at Family Service for their work and time in helping us get everything together and organized so we all could come together and do something impactful for those in need.”

The renovations included new signage, custom wall graphics, dimensional signs, Plexiglass windows, wall and window decals, seating, tables, storage solutions, toys and games, paint and more.

“Quality Services Plus is a valued partner of ours,” said Dina Della Ducata, Family Service chief executive officer. “They are incredibly generous in supporting the families we serve, and we look forward to working with this wonderful team in the future.”
