The David Kim Orchestral Institute of Cairn University will present two concerts during the 2019 Violin & Viola Summit. Join the faculty on Wednesday, June 19, at 7 p.m. for a program featuring members of the Philadelphia Orchestra, the American String Quartet, the Pittsburgh Symphony, Seoul National University, the Saint Louis Symphony, the Chicago Symphony and the Metropolitan Opera Orchestra.
The closing concert of the 2019 David Kim Orchestral Institute, held on Friday, June 21, at 7 p.m., will feature students selected by David Kim. The program will feature works by Mozart, Barber, Sibelius, Brahms, Paganini and more.
The David Kim Orchestral Institute is an eight-day summer music festival focused on elevating individual musicianship to an elite level. The Institute features private lessons, master classes, mock auditions and workshops by the finest musicians and clinicians in the classical music world.
