33 Bensalem High School students recently participated in DECA’s district event. Approximately 450 students from 14 different schools competed. DECA is a business club that prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.

Congratulations to the following BHS students who qualified to attend the Pennsylvania DECA State Competition in Hershey in February:

  • Karina Kohli — 6th place in Principles of Hospitality & Tourism
  • Mueed Gondal — 5th place in Automotive Service Marketing
  • Ethan Fan — 5th place in Business Services Marketing
  • Nisarg Patel — 4th place in Human Resources Management Series
  • Yogesh Patel — 5th place in Human Resources Management Series
  • Shiv Patel — 5th place in Retail Merchandising Series
  • Meet Patel & Mihir Patel — 3rd place in Hospitality Service Management Team
  • Noah Brodecki & Deep Patel — 3rd place in Travel & Tourism Marketing
  • Aditi Rao & Emily McLaughlin — 5th place in Travel & Tourism Marketing
