Enjoy everything from a book sale to a cemetery walk thisĀ fall

On Oct. 6, join the library for a walk through Tamanend Park. Library representatives will be at the park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. with a Story Stoll set up for all ages to enjoy. Follow the pages of the story Scoot by Cathryn Falwell and enjoy the paved trail in the park. After the Story Stroll, join Upper Southampton Parks and Rec in making nature-themed crafts.
The semi-annual Used Book Sale will be held Friday and Saturday, Oct. 12 and 13, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Mary Exum Room of the library. Hard and soft cover books, childrenās books, cookbooks, magazines, audiobooks, puzzles, CDs and DVDs will be sold. There will be a $5 bag sale Oct. 15ā19. Donations in good condition are needed. No encyclopedias, National Geographic magazines, textbooks or video and cassetteĀ tapes.
From Oct. 15ā31, the library will be accepting entries for its annual Pumpkin and Gourd Decorating Showcase. Hereās your chance to creatively decorate a pumpkin or gourd and bring it to the library for a chance to win raffles and spruce up the library. Join the libraryās Weekend Walks program on Halloween Weekend as it does its annual cemetery walk. This year, the library will explore the Neshaminy Warwick Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Participants will be met by the church historian, who will show them the graves of famous locals, including William Tennent, the cemetery chapel and the church sanctuary which was built in 1743. Participants will meet either in the library parking lot at 9:30 a.m. to caravan or at the parking lot of the church, 1401 Meetinghouse Road in Warminster, at 10Ā a.m.
