Family Service hosting public health clinic

This event takes place at the agency’s Emergency Homeless Shelter on July 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

For the second consecutive year, Family Service Association of Bucks County is hosting a Public Health Clinic at the agency’s Emergency Homeless Shelter, 7 Library Way, Levittown, on Saturday, July 22, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the shelter grounds. Free and open to the public.

Attendees will have the opportunity to receive free health screenings and wellness information by the Family Service Street Medicine team, as well as gain education about overdose prevention and harm reduction from the Family Service Community Addiction Recovery & Engagement team.

There will also be a keynote speech by James Sherman, from the acclaimed Philadelphia-based Savage Sisters Recovery, LLC, representation by several community resources, a DJ, live art created by artist Marc Friedhofer and more.
