Churchville Nature Center invites public to ‘not’ come to its Garden Party

Celebrate nature in your own gardens on Labor Day weekend and share photos on Facebook

Each year, Churchville Nature Center hosts its annual Garden Party to raise funds in support of its mission of education and preservation. Members and neighbors join in the gardens, lit with decorative lights and starlight, for an evening of food and friendship.

To keep one another safe, the Garden Party can not take place in-person this year. CNC is asking those who were planning to attend to purchase “tickets” to NOT come to the Garden Party.

Donation “tickets” are $35 for an individual, $60 for a couple, $75 for a family and $100 for a donor.

As a thank you, all donors will be entered into drawings for gift baskets. Donors who give $100 or more will receive a private nature walk scheduled with a CNC staff member.

To have even more fun, CNC invites participants to celebrate nature in their own gardens on Labor Day weekend and post a picture to its Facebook event listing, facebook.com/events/1218733581808635/, on Sept. 5-7. Show CNC your gardens, favorite party outfit, favorite garden food or party beverage. Tag CNC in your social posts with #CNCnongardenparty.
