Enjoy a movie, learn how to draw a duck and more

The Township Library of Lower Southampton, 1983 Bridgetown Pike in Feasterville, announced the following events:

Chair Yoga with Elda: Tuesday, March 22, at noon, via Zoom. Join for some gentle stretches from the comfort of home.

RPG: Tuesday, March 22, at 6:30 p.m. Go on adventures in Dungeons & Dragons. Once you have registered, the library will contact you with further details. All experience levels are welcome. Create a character or find premade characters for free online.

Thursday Movie Club: Thursday, March 24, at 10:15 a.m. Join for the biopic King Richard. Throughout March, the library is featuring a curated selection of dramas, comedies and a classic, all starring the late Sidney Poitier. The library is making necessary changes to have everyone’s visit to the library be safe and stress free. No registration required. Masks are optional. Drop in for some popcorn and fun.

Minecraft Makers: Thursday, March 24, at 4:30 p.m. for grades 1 and up; and at 6:30 p.m. for grades 5-12. Sign up for the library’s Minecraft Realms server and join each week to hang out with friends and build. Join the library’s Discord server to voice chat with friends as you play. Joining Discord is optional. The library uses the Bedrock edition, which is compatible with Windows 10, mobile devices, Nintendo Switch and Xbox One.

Virtual Evening Book Discussion, A Woman of No Importance: Thursday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m. March is Women’s History Month and a great time to learn about Virginia Hall, an American spy during WWII who was considered by the Nazis to be the most dangerous Allied operative. Copies of the book are available through the library system. Register to receive the link to this virtual program.

Duck Drawing with Anita Thompson: Saturday, March 26, at 10:30 a.m. Join art instructor Anita Thompson as she teaches participants how to draw a duck using a pencil and tortillon. Participants need to supply their own materials. Tortillons are available at craft stores like Michaels, on Amazon, etc.
