How well do you know the hamlets, villages and byways of Bucks County? The public is invited to attend Bucks County Adventures with Carl LaVO at the Margaret R. Grundy Memorial Library, 680 Radcliffe St., Bristol, on Saturday, Oct. 20, Historic Bristol Day.
The retired journalist and local author will present stories from his book Bucks County Adventures: From William Penn and George Washington to Neil Armstrong.
Beginning at 11:30 a.m., LaVO will share the rich, varied histories of Bucks County places discovered through his many adventures. In addition, LaVO will have copies of his book for sale and will be available for book signings. No registration is required.
