Scott Bomboy, National Constitution Center editor in chief, will present ‘Pennsylvania and the Founders: From Penn to Wilson’ on Sept. 12, at Pennsbury Manor

The next Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce keynote program takes place Thursday, Sept. 12, at Pennsbury Manor, 400 Pennsbury Memorial Road, Morrisville. Networking and breakfast are from 8:30 to 9 a.m., and the program is from 9 to 10:15 a.m.

Scott Bomboy, editor in chief, National Constitution Center, will present “Pennsylvania and the Founders: From Penn to Wilson.” Pennsylvania is called the Keystone State in part because of its significance in our nation’s founding era. From William Penn’s Charter of Privileges to James Wilson’s role in crafting the Constitution, Pennsylvania played an important role in the creation of our republic. Learn about these essential Pennsylvania voices in the American story. 

Bomboy is a historian, journalist and digital executive who currently serves as editor in chief of the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia. In his career, Bomboy earned five Edward R. Murrow awards in local television, and his blog for the NCC Constitution Daily was named to the American Bar Association Hall of Fame in 2020. He also serves on Perkasie Borough Council in Bucks County and chairs the Bucks County Covered Bridge Society.
