Family Service Association of Bucks County announced that Patricia Rooney, PHR, is joining the agency’s board of directors. A successful human resources professional, she brings vast field experience, particularly in the areas of organizational development, global management and policies/procedures, among many others.
Since 2012, Rooney has served as director of human resources at Parx Casino and Racing in Bensalem. Among her many achievements at Parx, she has been responsible for establishing and growing the company’s Business Resource Groups and incorporating information systems into HR policies. An avid supporter of staff training, education and change management, Rooney continues to provide key leadership in her position.
Rooney received a bachelor’s degree in business/accounting from The College of New Jersey. She began her career at Merrill Lynch Investment Management, followed by successful tenures at Philadelphia Insurance Company, Bristol Myers Squibb and UniTek Global Services.
She is excited to join the Family Service board of directors, where she will contribute to the agency’s mission and vision. Family Service is a nonprofit social service organization with locations throughout Bucks County. Visit fsabc.org.
