Fentanyl trafficker arrested in Bensalem

Basheon Johnson, 36, of Bristol, was found to be in possession of 18 bags of Fentanyl

The Bensalem Township Police Special Investigations Unit conducted a narcotics investigation at the Penn Lodge Motel, 4331 Old Lincoln Highway, Bensalem, on Tuesday, March 14. Through the course of the investigation, officers arrested Basheon Johnson, 36, of Schumacher Drive, Bristol.

Johnson is known to police for trafficking Fentanyl in Bensalem and Bristol Township. Johnson also had an active warrant out of the Bucks County Sheriff’s Office. As a result of the investigation, Johnson was found to be in possession of 18 bags of Fentanyl, 1 ounce of crack cocaine, $2,300 U.S. Currency and a 9 mm handgun.

Johnson was charged with Manufacture, Delivery, or Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Person not to Possess, Use, Manufacture, Control, Sell or Transfer Firearms. He was arraigned by District Justice Michael Gallagher and remanded to Bucks County Correctional Facility in lieu of 10 percent of $100,000 bail.
