Stitch Witches Needlework Group meets on Aug. 1 at 2 p.m. Drop in and bring your latest needlework project to work on. The club meets every Thursday, unless otherwise noted. Attend as often as you like. There is no meeting on Aug. 8.
Barks & Books takes place Aug. 3. Drop in to read to Lucy the therapy dog. Reading to animals helps children develop confidence, and improves their reading and communication skills.
Chair Yoga takes place Aug. 6 at noon. Gentle stretching is involved.
Explore Forensics on Aug. 6. Test fingerprints, reconstruct faces and try to solve a crime. This event is for grades 5-12.
