The Newtown-Yardley Creative Writers Workshop meets every other Thursday from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Corner Bakery Cafe, 3 W. Road, Newtown.
The friendly group features readings and critiques. All types of writing are welcome, including novels and short stories, science fiction/fantasy, poetry and memoirs.
Upcoming meetings are on July 11 and 25, Aug. 8 and 22 and Sept. 5 and 19.
