Broadway Guest Joins “A Levittown Christmas Carol” at New Hope Arts

Date:

December 8, 2025

After four sold-out performances in 2024, A Levittown Christmas Carol returns to the New Hope Arts stage this December with an expanded run and a fresh new vision. The original musical by Righteous Jolly and David Garrett Shaw – takes a gritty, hilarious, and heartfelt spin on reimagining of Dickens’ holiday classic and has evolved dramatically further since its debut. With a sharper story, new cast members, added songs, and enhanced production design, this year’s show promises to be even more powerful and unforgettable. Limited performances run December 12–14 & December 18–20, 2025. Tickets are $35.00 and can be purchased at http://www.newhopearts.org/.

“This show has been in the making since 2019,” says co-creator Righteous Jolly. “After last year’s success, we immediately got to work; re-writing, re-casting, and refining. We listened to feedback, clarified the story, and added depth where it mattered most.”

Under the direction of Griffin Horn, the 2025 production takes full advantage of New Hope Arts’ upgraded stage lighting and newly designed set by McAfee Madding, complete with immersive projections by Jay Dooley and costumes by Gina Andreoli. “Griffin’s vision really grounded the show,” adds Jolly. “He took what was written and put it on the earth – making every moment feel real, raw, and relatable.”

This year introduces two new characters – Young Ebby, played by Noble Jolly, and Young Man Ebby, whose scenes illuminate the choices that shape the older Scrooge audiences meet in the present. A brand-new song, Enjoy the Moment, gives Fezzi a tender opportunity to guide young Scrooge toward love and gratitude before his fateful fall.

Set against a backdrop of 1980s and ’90s suburban nostalgia – complete with BMX bikes, Starter jackets, Z Cavariccis, Wawa runs, and a soundtrack that rocks – A Levittown Christmas Carol offers a rough-around-the-edges love letter to small-town America. It’s equal parts comedy, social commentary, and redemption story, with a live band driving the beat.

The dynamic cast stars Righteous Jolly as Chuck/Scrooge and The Artist Known as KOURAJ as Grace/Christin, with an ensemble featuring Kat Bohn, Mark Applegate, Joe Beckett, Aimee Robidoux, Maurice Osborne, Jaime Parker, Joe Rakowski, Reba Holley, Mary Tomson, Nora Hammet, Connor Schmiegel, and Noble Jolly.
