Eagles Trade 2026 Pick To Acquire Pro Bowl CB Jaire Alexander From Ravens

Date:

November 6, 2025

The Philadelphia Eagles acquired cornerback Jaire Alexander from the Baltimore Ravens on November 1, 2025, in exchange for a 2026 sixth-round pick that originally belonged to Denver and received a 2027 seventh-round pick. Philadelphia completed the move before the Tuesday 4 PM deadline. The deal followed an earlier transaction on October 29, 2025, when the Eagles traded for cornerback Michael Carter II from the New York Jets.

Alexander, 28, signed with Baltimore in June on a one-year, $6 million contract after the Green Bay Packers released him as a $72 million player. He played two games for the Ravens and recorded five tackles prior to the trade. Alexander returns to his hometown after seven seasons in Green Bay, where he appeared in 80 regular-season games with 76 starts and seven postseason matchups with six starts. He earned Pro Bowl selections in the 2020 and 2022 seasons and second-team All-Pro honors in both years. His Green Bay totals include 290 regular-season tackles, 12 tackles for loss, 12 interceptions, 1.5 sacks, 70 passes defensed, three forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and one touchdown. In the postseason, he added 28 tackles, three interceptions, and five passes defensed.

In 2020, Alexander earned the highest Pro Football Focus grade among all cornerbacks at 90.5 and was the only player at the position to exceed 90 that year. During that postseason, he allowed one reception for negative three yards in the Divisional Round and intercepted Tom Brady twice in the NFC Championship Game when Brady targeted Mike Evans, finishing the playoffs with more interceptions than receptions allowed. In 2022, he produced five interceptions, four tackles for loss, 56 tackles, and 14 passes defensed. He ranked seventh at cornerback on Pro Football Focus that season and allowed a passer rating of 63.7.

The Eagles add Alexander as they prepare for a Monday Night Football matchup at Lambeau Field, where they will face his former team following the bye. Betting markets reacted quickly to Philadelphia’s recent moves and form. The game line opened months ago with the Eagles favored at roughly -1.5, then flipped after late-October movement to Packers -3 before settling at Packers -2.5 at most major sportsbooks, with totals hovering between 44.5 and 45.5 and moneylines sitting near Packers -135/-140 and Eagles +115/+120. Some early market signals leaned toward Philadelphia +2.5 as bettors pushed back against the full three-point swing.

Futures markets show a slight drift since the offseason. Philadelphia opened near +650 to win Super Bowl LX and sat in the +700 to +750 range at most books entering the season. Current listings place the Eagles in the +950 to +1100 range, depending on the operator, still within the top tier of contenders. Analysts have noted that the roster move, paired with injury designations and bye-week recovery, adds intrigue to a matchup already influenced by public money and injury monitoring. A major sportsbook preview backed the Packers at -2.5 but leaned Under 45, while an ESPN betting pick logged Eagles +2.5 at reduced juice. Books expect adjustments based on final practice reports and clarity on Philadelphia’s defensive rotations, including expected usage for Alexander.

Philadelphia’s cornerback room now features Jaire Alexander alongside Quinyon Mitchell, Cooper DeJean, Adoree’ Jackson, Kelee Ringo, Jakorian Bennett, who is designated for return from Injured Reserve, Mac McWilliams, and Michael Carter II. In the same roster sequence, the team placed safety Marcus Epps and outside linebacker Azeez Ojulari on Injured Reserve. Defensive Coordinator Vic Fangio gains an experienced outside corner with postseason production and a team captain background.

The Eagles enter Week 10 after back-to-back losses to the Denver Broncos and the New York Giants, followed by wins over the Minnesota Vikings and the Giants.
