Central Bucks East’s girls’ track team made waves at the 2025 Track and Field Coaches Association State Indoor Championships, securing a gold medal in the 4×800 meter relay and finishing tied for third in team rankings.
The championship, held at Penn State, saw nine local schools compete in a variety of events, but it was the Central Bucks East 4×800 relay team’s dominance that stood out.
The 4×800 relay squad—composed of senior Lilly Norcross, juniors Paige Dougherty and Madison Epstein, and sophomore Ava Mignon—clocked an impressive 9:18.45 to claim the area’s only gold medal.
The Patriots also earned a silver in the 4×400 meter relay, where Dougherty, Mignon, Epstein, and junior Gabrielle Szyarto set a new school record with a time of 3:55.56.
Individual performances also added to the Central Bucks East girls’ success. Mignon placed ninth in the 800 meters with a 2:16.67 finish, while Szyarto sprinted to 11th place in the 200 meters at 25.21.
The team continued its strong showing with a fourth-place finish in the 4,000-meter distance medley, clocking a school-best 12:25.35.
Central Bucks South followed closely behind in the medley relay, setting its own school record with a time of 12:29.20.
Beyond Central Bucks East, other Bucks County athletes left their mark.
Senior Devlyn Faber of CB South took 10th in the triple jump (37-1), and the Titans’ 4×800 relay team, featuring sophomores Taryn Kotsur and Grace Waibel alongside seniors Olivia Daniele and Riley Rooney, claimed fourth in 9:32.89.
Pennsbury’s Kira Moses earned a bronze in the shot put with a 40-2.75 throw.
Pennridge also had a strong showing, with their 4×400 relay squad—Jaelyn Jones, Kaegan Smith, Karlie Freier, and Ashley Landis—securing fourth place in 3:57.76.
Their 4×200 relay team notched a fifth-place finish in 1:43.81, both marks setting new school records.
On the boys’ side, Pennridge sophomore Jackson Warfel delivered an incredible performance, capturing bronze in the 3,000 meters with a personal best of 8:32.54.
CB East’s Lorenz Forsmann sprinted to fourth in the 400 meters (48.41), and the East distance medley relay team clocked a fifth-place finish at 10:25.45.

- CR South’s Nazar Pastukh (sixth, high jump, 6-3; eighth, triple jump, 44-8).
- CR South’s 4×800 relay team (seventh, 7:58.46).
- CB East’s Ryan Fischer (seventh, shot put, 53-6.5).
- CR North’s Matt Gosling (eighth, mile, 4:17.49, PR).
- CR North’s Lucas Poliseno (eighth, 800 meters, 1:54.59).
- CB West’s 4×200 relay team (eighth, 1:30.47, PR).
