Americans Protest Trump and Musk on Presidents’ Day

On Monday, hundreds of protesters gathered in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to rally against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk.

The demonstration was part of a broader national response criticizing Trump’s recent executive actions and Musk’s growing influence over federal agencies.

Some legal scholars have warned that the country faces a “constitutional crisis” due to these developments.

The Doylestown protest was one of many held across the country on “No Kings Day.”

Organized by the 50501 movement—representing “50 protests, 50 states, one movement”—the events aimed to oppose what activists describe as the Trump administration’s antidemocratic policies.

Protesters also expressed concerns over Musk’s privileged access to government data and intelligence.

Local photographer Mike Maney documented the demonstration, capturing images of residents braving cold temperatures to voice their opposition.

Signs and banners reflected concerns over judicial independence, executive overreach, and corporate influence in governance.

The Bucks County manifestation was one of the most vocal gatherings in the region, amplifying concerns about the administration’s actions.

Similar rallies unfolded in cities across the United States.

In Washington, D.C., an American flag was displayed upside-down near the U.S. Capitol Building, a traditional symbol of distress.

Protesters there voiced support for federal workers while condemning recent actions by the Trump administration and Musk.

In Boston, a woman with “Hands off my rights” painted across her face joined demonstrators outside the Massachusetts State House.

A Philly protest also saw large crowds taking to the streets.

Protests also took place in California, Alaska, and Florida.

The “No Kings Day” rallies marked the second round of coordinated protests by the 50501 movement, with organizers planning additional events in the coming months.

Their goal remains clear: continued advocacy against policies they believe could weaken democratic institutions.

The Trump protest movement continues to gain momentum, with activists planning further demonstrations to challenge the administration’s actions.
