Leadership Bucks County kicks off in November

Emerging professionals can develop their personal leadership skills through interactive presentations, team building and more

Now in its 31st year, the Lower Bucks County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Bucks County program offers emerging professionals a curriculum to develop their personal leadership skills, which includes team building and personal assessment exercises, interactive presentations and monthly workshops. Leadership participants also meet with Bucks County leaders in business, government, law, healthcare, education and other industries. 

The program includes 10 in-person sessions from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. starting Nov. 19. The final session and graduation ceremony takes place on June 10. Session locations vary depending upon the subject content. Tuition cost is $1,000. A non-refundable deposit of $600 is required at registration, with final payment by Oct. 31. Tuition includes materials and refreshments (other than those sponsored). 

Sessions include:

  • Nov. 19: Orientation and Entrepreneurial Thinking
  • Dec. 17: Government
  • Jan. 21: Industry
  • Feb. 25: Tourism and Hospitality
  • March 25: Healthcare
  • April 8: Education
  • April 22: Participants Session
  • May 6: Participants Session
  • May 20: Participants Session
  • June 10: Presentations/Graduation
